There are a fair number of questions that are straightforward study guide type questions, with straightforward answers. are we all meant to give up everything? Are we expected to quit our jobs, sell our homes and travel around guiding others onto the road to discipleship? That's quite a lot to ask. He seems to be saying that, in order to be a true disciple of Jesus, you should be prepared to give up everything - including your life. I can't say as I agree with everything that Francis Chan, who created the video for which this book is a study guide, said.
